Publish. The widget updates itself, so there is nothing to maintain.

Frequently asked questions

Are the gold widgets really free?

Yes. They are free for any website or blog, personal or commercial. There is no sign-up and no API key. We only ask that you keep the small credit line under the widget.

Where does the data come from?

Market hours are calculated in the visitor’s browser with exact daylight-saving rules. The converter and seasonality use COMEX gold futures data and daily exchange rates that refresh automatically on our servers.

Can I change the size or colours?

Change the width and height in the code to fit your layout. Add ?theme=light to the widget address for a light background, for example https://www.xauusdglobal.com/embed/market-hours/?theme=light. The converter also accepts ?currency=INR (or any listed currency) to set the default currency.

Will the widget slow down my site?

No. Each widget is a small, self-contained page loaded lazily in an iframe, so it only loads when a visitor scrolls to it and never blocks your own page.

Do the widgets give trading signals?

No. They show market hours, prices and historical statistics for education. XAUUSD Global never provides buy or sell signals.
