Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit XAUUSD Global, why it is processed, and the choices and rights available to you.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Introduction

XAUUSD Global (“XAUUSD Global”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website located at https://www.xauusdglobal.com/ (the “Website”). We respect your privacy and are committed to handling information responsibly and transparently.

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you visit or use the Website. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Risk Disclaimer. By using the Website, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Summary

  • The Website is an educational resource. It does not offer user accounts, registration, contact forms, newsletters or payments at this time.
  • We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, wallet address or payment details through the Website.
  • We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, to understand how the Website is used in aggregate.
  • Certain third-party services — website hosting, web fonts, and market-chart and calendar widgets — receive limited technical information when your browser loads the Website.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

3. Information we process

3.1 Information you provide

We do not currently collect information you submit through the Website, because the Website has no forms, accounts or checkout. If you choose to contact us through a channel listed on our contact page, we will receive the information you include in your message and use it solely to respond to you.

3.2 Website analytics (Umami)

We use Umami Cloud to measure Website traffic and usage. Umami helps us understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Website (for example, the referring website), and general characteristics such as browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate country.

According to Umami, its service does not use cookies and does not collect information that is intended to identify individual visitors. We use analytics data only in aggregated form to maintain and improve the Website and its content. We do not use analytics data to build profiles of individuals or for advertising.

3.3 Hosting and server logs (GitHub Pages)

The Website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. When you visit the Website, your browser’s request is processed by GitHub’s infrastructure. As with most web hosting services, GitHub may process technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of your request, the pages requested and your browser type, for purposes including security, abuse prevention and service operation. This processing is governed by GitHub’s own privacy statement.

3.4 Web fonts (Google Fonts)

The Website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver these files, Google receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details. This processing is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

3.5 Market chart and calendar widgets (TradingView)

Our XAUUSD price page, the price preview on our homepage and the economic calendar on our news page are displayed through embedded widgets provided by TradingView. These widgets load directly from TradingView’s servers when they appear on screen. TradingView may receive technical information from your browser and may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy and cookie policies. XAUUSD Global does not receive or control information collected by TradingView.

3.6 News headlines

Headlines on our news page are collected by our own automated process from publishers’ public RSS feeds and stored on our website. Displaying them does not share any information about you with those publishers. If you click a headline, you leave our Website and the publisher’s own privacy policy applies.

4. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

  • operate, maintain and secure the Website;
  • understand how visitors use the Website so that we can improve content, structure and performance;
  • respond to enquiries you choose to send us; and
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Where data-protection laws require a legal basis for processing, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable and useful educational website and in understanding its usage in aggregate, in a manner that does not override your rights. Where we respond to your enquiries, we process information to take the steps you have asked us to take. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

XAUUSD Global’s own code and our analytics service do not set tracking cookies. Some third-party services embedded in the Website, in particular TradingView chart widgets, may set cookies or use similar technologies under their own policies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies or scripts may prevent some embedded content, such as charts, from displaying.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Information is processed by the service providers described in Section 3 to the extent necessary for them to provide their services. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation or legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of XAUUSD Global, our visitors or others.

8. International data transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where applicable, our providers maintain their own safeguards for such transfers.

9. Data retention

We retain aggregated analytics data for as long as it is useful for understanding Website usage trends. Correspondence you send us is kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable records. Information processed by third-party providers is retained according to their own policies.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Website, including serving all pages over encrypted HTTPS connections and limiting the third-party services we use. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, which may include the right to request access, correction or deletion; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Because we do not maintain user accounts and our analytics are designed not to identify individuals, we generally hold little or no information that can be linked to you. If you wish to make a request, please contact us through our contact page, and we will respond in accordance with applicable law. For information held by GitHub, Google, Umami or TradingView, you may also contact those providers directly.

12. Children’s privacy

The Website is intended for adults. It is not directed at individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly process personal information relating to children. Trading leveraged financial products is not appropriate for minors.

13. Third-party websites

The Website contains links to external websites and services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

14. Future services

We plan to introduce community registration and paid membership in the future. Before any such service becomes available, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe the additional information collected, the purposes and legal bases for processing, the service providers involved (for example, authentication and payment providers), retention periods and your rights.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.

16. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how information is handled, please reach us through our contact page.
