Gold Pro Terminal

The institutional desk view of gold on one page: spot, futures basis and curve, fund positioning, ETF and central-bank flows, volatility regime, the next big release and where value sits. Free, updated automatically.

How to use the terminal

Read the tiles from left to right as one question: how much risk can the gold market take right now? Spot and the basis tell you where price is and what carrying it costs. Positioning tells you how crowded funds are. ETF and central-bank flows show whether slow money is behind the trend. The volatility regime sets how big a normal day is, the event tile how soon that could change, and the volume profile whether price sits in accepted value or out on a limb.

  • Crowded funds, high volatility, price far from value, big event close: the environment for smaller size and quicker profit protection.
  • Light positioning, calm volatility, price at value, quiet calendar: the environment where normal size and patience make sense.

Each tile opens the full tool with history and method. New to these numbers? The free Gold Pro Track course explains them in ten short lessons.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Gold Pro Terminal?

A free one-page desk view of the data professional gold traders watch: spot, the futures basis and curve, fund positioning from the COT report, ETF and central-bank flows, implied volatility, the next big release and the volume-profile location. Each tile opens the full tool.

How often are the tiles updated?

Spot streams live while the page is open. The other tiles update with the site’s data refresh: futures and volume hourly to several times a day, COT weekly (Fridays), ETF holdings daily, central-bank data monthly and GVZ daily.

Is this a trading signal dashboard?

No. It shows the market environment: crowding, cost of carry, expected volatility and flows. It is context for sizing and caution, not buy or sell calls.

Why is there no liquidation or order-book heatmap like crypto sites have?

Gold has no public liquidation data: spot and CFD positions sit privately with brokers. Exchange order-book and tick data for COMEX gold is licensed and costly to redistribute, so this page uses the best public institutional data instead.
