What the placement test does
It asks 12 questions drawn from our free lesson quizzes: four at beginner level, four intermediate, four advanced. Your answers show which level to start at and which topics need work. Then it builds a four-week plan of lessons with tick-boxes you can print.
How the level is chosen
- You reach a level by answering at least three of its four questions correctly.
- Your weakest topics are the categories of the questions you missed; the plan puts those lessons first.
- Everything stays in your browser. We do not store your answers.
