AI policy

How XAUUSD Global uses AI tools to help draft and check content, why people decide what is published, and why AI never gives trading advice on this site.

Last updated:

We use artificial-intelligence tools in producing this site. This page says exactly where they are used, where they are not, and who is responsible for what you read.

Where we use AI tools

  • Drafting and editing. Writers on the editorial team use AI assistants to help outline articles, draft sections from their notes, tighten prose and suggest clearer explanations of technical points.
  • Checking. We use AI tools to cross-check arithmetic in worked examples, flag inconsistent time-zone conversions, find broken links and spot claims that lack a source, before a human review.
  • Code and tooling. The site generator, the free calculators and the data trackers are maintained with help from AI coding tools. The data those tools display comes from the public sources named on each tool page, not from an AI model.
  • Daily news digests. The daily gold news page summarises headlines from named publishers. Headlines are credited and linked to the original source; summaries are reviewed by a person before publication.

Where we do not use AI

  • AI never gives trading advice on this site. There is no chatbot, assistant or generated recommendation anywhere on XAUUSD Global that tells you what to trade. Trade ideas inside the community come from people and carry their reasoning.
  • AI does not decide what is published. Every article, lesson, tool and policy page is approved by a member of the editorial team, who is responsible for it.
  • AI is not a source. No market fact, date, contract specification, regulatory rule or statistic is published on the authority of an AI model. Each one is checked by a human against a primary source such as CME Group, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal Reserve, the LBMA, the CFTC or the World Gold Council, as described in our editorial policy.
  • No fabricated experience. We do not use AI to invent trader anecdotes, testimonials, performance records or author identities. Our author page says plainly who we are and what we have not yet published.

How a page gets from draft to live

  1. A member of the team chooses the topic and sets out what the article must cover and which sources apply.
  2. The draft is written, with AI assistance for structure and wording where helpful.
  3. Every factual claim is verified by a person against its primary source, and the worked examples are recalculated by hand.
  4. A second team member reviews the article for accuracy, clarity and compliance with this policy and the editorial policy.
  5. The article is published with its date. Later changes show an “Updated” date, and factual fixes are recorded on the corrections page.

Known limits

AI tools can produce text that sounds confident and is wrong, including plausible but incorrect numbers and dates. Our review process exists because of that, not in spite of it. Where we quote a figure, the source is listed so you can check it yourself; please do, especially for anything that affects a trade.

Why we tell you this

Readers of a trading-education site deserve to know how its content is made and who stands behind it. We think the honest position is that AI tools make us faster and more thorough, that people remain accountable for every word, and that nothing on this site should be taken as a recommendation, whether written by a person or with the help of a machine.
