What is the Gold Trader Test?
The Gold Trader Test is a free, timed 20-question test of how well you know gold trading. The questions come straight from the quizzes of our free Gold Trading Academy: support and resistance, market structure, liquidity and order blocks, sessions, news days, position sizing and risk, expectancy and psychology. You get 30 seconds per question, an instant explanation after each answer, and a level at the end.
The levels
| Score | Level | What it means |

| 0–7 | Apprentice | Start with the beginner course and the first lessons of the academy. |
| 8–11 | Analyst | You know the vocabulary. Work through the risk and structure lessons you missed. |
| 12–15 | Trader | Solid grounding. The intermediate and advanced lessons will fill the gaps. |
| 16–18 | Senior Trader | Strong. Review the few lessons you missed and test yourself again. |
| 19–20 | Pro | Excellent. You know the academy inside out. |
How to use your result
The end screen lists every question you missed with the right answer, the one-line reason and a link to the lesson. That list is your study plan: read those lessons, pass their quizzes to count them toward the XAUUSD Foundations certificate, then take the test again. Frequently asked questions
Where do the questions come from?
From the five-question quizzes at the end of the 51 lessons of our free Gold Trading Academy. Each test draws 20 of the 255 questions at random, so no two tests are the same, and every question links back to the lesson that teaches it.
How is the level worked out?
From your score out of 20: 0–7 Apprentice, 8–11 Analyst, 12–15 Trader, 16–18 Senior Trader, 19–20 Pro. A question you do not answer within 30 seconds counts as wrong.
Is the level a qualification?
No. It is a self-test of how well you know the academy’s concepts and numbers. It does not prove trading skill or results, and it is not recognised by any regulator.
How is this different from the academy certificate?
The XAUUSD Foundations certificate needs you to pass every lesson’s quiz, lesson by lesson. The Trader Test is a quick, timed mix across the whole academy that you can take again and again.

Your best score, level and number of tests are saved in this browser only. Nothing is sent to us.
